Søren Kierkegaard
Søren Kierkegaard was a Danish philosopher and Christian thinker from Copenhagen, often called the first existentialist. Many of his books, such as Either/Or and Fear and Trembling (both 1843), appeared under pseudonyms, while religious works like Works of Love (1847) were signed with his own name.
